Setting up your BLOOM⁴³ account

After downloading the BLOOM⁴³ app, you’ll need to create an account where all your data will be securely stored.

Onboarding Steps


1. Privacy and Terms
We value your privacy. Before you start using the app, we’ll ask you to review and agree to our Privacy Policy, Terms of Use, and how your data is processed.
All checkboxes on this screen are mandatory, except for 'Improving healthcare' and 'Keeping you in the loop', which are optional but would help us improve healthcare research and keep you updated.
2. Choose Your Role
Next, let us know which user category you belong to:
• A patient who is preparing for, or recovering from, breast surgery
• A member of a patient's support network - anyone who isn't a breast surgery patient themselves
Your selection will tailor the app experience and content to your specific needs.
3. Registration
To create an account, we’ll ask for your:
• Full name
• Email address
• Password
Then, for security purposes, we’ll request:
• Your phone number (for two-factor authentication)
Next, we’ll collect some demographic information:
• Date of birth
• Ethnic origin
• Sex assigned at birth
• Country of residence
4. Health Information
To personalize your app experience, we’ll ask briefly about your medical and surgical history. If the BLOOM⁴³ device is available in your country and you choose to order it, your surgery date ensures we ship the product in time.
You can also choose to add your medical history later, in your account settings.
